McWay Falls is one of the most beautiful and most photographed sites in Big Sur. The vantage point for this shot is the former veranda to a home that once sat here, built by establishing residents Lathrop and Helen Brown in the 1920's. Gulls hover over the splashing fall to drink fresh water from the shore.
